Performing live music for weddings is part concert performance, part musical theater, and part mood-setting. Over years performing together, we at Collage Music have learned four essential elements for perfect wedding music performances:

1. Expect the unexpected.
And we do. We will not be thrown off by a last-minute change of location, music, or even a 5-year-old flower girl getting sidetracked on her way down the aisle.

2. Know the music.
Inside and out - even after hundreds of weddings together, we conduct regular rehearsals because we love playing together. Our knowledge and experience with our wedding repertoire allows us to keep one eye on the music and the other on you!

3. Look sharp.
We are absolutely committed to the best in musicianship, and at the same time we understand that we need to look the part too. You've chosen your site carefully, and made significant investments in photography and other visual aspects of your wedding. We recognize that during the ceremony, we are likely to be right up front with you. You've made the effort to look your best, so we do the same.

4. Play for the audience.
Wedding receptions are almost always mixed crowds. We will work with you to find music that pleases both you and the demographic of your party attendees.

The Groups
We offer mixed ensembles of 2-9 instrumentalists. Our most popular groups include:

• Trio of Flute, Mandolin, and Bass
• Trio of Flute, Violin, and Cello (our original ensemble)
• Duo of Flute and Cello or Classical Guitar

The Repertoire
All of our groups can play hours of elegant classical music. We also have a great repertoire of music for the cocktail hour with an international flair. Romantic Italian arias, Viennese waltzes, sultry Argentine tangos, bright Brazilian choros and charming Parisian café tunes are the specialty of our flexible groups.
