Green Goes with Everything

Ecotrust Event Spaces serves Portland with two unique event venues: The Natural Capital Center and the Center for Architecture. Both venues provide vibrant and fertile gathering places. With offerings of a variety of spaces, we can accommodate parties big and small, wine tastings, dinners, concerts and weddings…you name it! Our beautifully restored historic buildings combine with state-of-the-art amenities to create unique events in a warm and creative atmosphere.

Natural Capital Center Outdoor Terrace

The Natural Capital Center, a former warehouse in Portland's Pearl District, was rebuilt to create a marketplace where innovative ideas for a conservation economy could take hold and flourish. Located on the third floor of the building, The Terrace provides stunning views of the surrounding Pearl District, an outdoor fireplace and tantalizing peeks of the eco-roof.

The Terrace totals 2,240 square feet and can accommodate stand-up receptions and gatherings for up to 200 people. The Terrace is available for rent after 5PM during the week and all day Saturday and Sunday.

Natural Capital Center Billy Frank , Jr. Conference Center

The Billy Frank , Jr. Conference Center, an 1,800 square foot room on the second floor of the Natural Capital Center, is the building's main conference and event space. Materials from the original warehouse lend character to the space: a diamond steel plate surrounds the entrances and exits and steel fire doors double as sliding doors. Large windows line the Conference Center's west wall, flooding the space with natural light and inviting visitors to peek out for a view of some of the building's unique features: elongated garden patches known as bioswales that serve to absorb excess rainwater, and a beautiful, mottled brick remnant wall leftover from the original structure.

The Conference Center accommodates groups from ten to 180 people and can be divided into two smaller spaces - 700 square feet for more intimate meetings, or 1,100 square feet for larger groups. The Conference Center is available for rent 7AM-1AM seven days a week.

Center for Architecture

Located in the heart of Portland's Pearl District, this 1880s building has functioned as a horse stable, housed an acclaimed photography gallery, and is now the new home for the Portland Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The Center for Architecture is an example of how beautiful environmental design and energy-efficient building methods can be. In addition to public events, the Center showcases art and design exhibits and hosts lectures and AIA member events.

We are excited to be managing weekend events in this recently revitalized space. On track to be one of the few Platinum LEED certified buildings in Oregon, the 1200 square foot Center accommodates groups of 10 to 100 people. Lofty ceilings, an open floor plan, exposed wooden beams, abundant natural light and state of the art amenities make the Center for Architecture the ideal venue for your next event. The Center for Architecture is available for rent after 5PM on Fridays and all day Saturday and Sunday.
